1.  View examples of Depression Era experiences
                   A.  Riding the Rails
                   B.  Civilian Conservation Corps
                   C.  Surviving The Dust Bowl
                   D.  King of the Hill (1993)
                   E.  Million of Us:  The Musical
2.  Write a letter from the perspective of a person involved in each topic.  Each letter will include:
                   A.  Cause of the problem for the character in your letter
                   B.  Effect the Great Depression had on your daily life
                   C.  Ideas about what the government did, or could do, to help you out.

3.  Create a visual presentation for your letters.

Millions of Us: The Musical (1936/2008)

The film tells the story of an unemployed, homeless man who, out of desperation, tries to cross a picket line to work, only to have a union organizer help him see the error of his ways.  The film was made in made in 1936 by American Labor Productions.
