1. TUESDAY PREVIEW - High School Writing Sample/Final Exam Pre-write
2. LIBRARY
- Read anything about your topic and look more into parts of the story you find interesting - JUST EXPLORE. Start by searching for your “main topic,” but also examine individuals' experiences that may become part of your story
- As you explore, write down the names of the materials you spend any quality time on and some of the facts, examples, details, content vocabulary…and write down any potential images and/or details that you think would be perfect for a story on your topic.
- Create meaning in the story by writing down your reactions to what you are discovering about your topic
- Wednesday, everyone in the group will bring a common set of knowledge about your topic to the group, but also everyone will bring their own unique perspective and story ideas.
