Goal: By Friday, September 26, complete a "history lab" [short answer conclusion] that evaluates the progress made since Reconstruction.
Problem: In 1870, the 15th Amendment to the Constitution granted African American men the right to vote. It would take the passage of the Voting Rights Act of 1965 before the majority of African American men in the South were registered to vote.
